my thoughts on the song music for a sushi restaurant by Harry Styles
Hey guys, I wanted to do a review for the song, music for a sushi restaurant by Harry Styles from his album, Harry’s House. And so right off the bat when this song first started, it instantly gave me those vibes from Justin Timberlake’s album, the 2020 experience with the instrumentation and the horns and trumpets and everything and it sounded like something that Timberland had produced.
It definitely gave me nostalgia from the first time I listened to the 2020 experience because of how energizing and how refreshing the production on that album was.
And so when, he says, “green eyes fried rice, I could cook an egg on you.” I love that line because he’s talking about how, this girl has green eyes, but he’s kind of relaying it to green onions that you’d see in fried rice. And then when he says “I could cook an egg on you.” He’s pretty much talking about how this girl is so attractive that he literally like she’s so hot that he literally could cook an egg on her.
Of course, with fried rice, you have scrambled eggs and everything in there. So I just love that part. You know how he’s relaying this girl’s physical features with food. And I think that’s probably how he got the inspiration for the title of the song and just the song. And then he says, “if the stars were edible and our hearts were never full, could we live with just a taste?” I love this line also because of how the production reminded me of the 2020 experience that part of the song also reminded me of the 2020 experience where he’s just kind of taking different things and talking about eating, eating it and it almost sounds like it kind of reminded me of strawberry or not strawberry coop, but strawberry bubble gum or Spaceship Coop or, you know, tunnel vision from
that album where it’s just especially spaceship Coop where he talks about these spacey kind of things. And so that was what that part of the song reminded me of.
It was just cool to get that, that nostalgic feeling from when that first album came out. And so you guys should also let me know what you guys thought about the production and the song is the whole and the comments because the first time I saw the title, I had no idea what to expect going into it.
I didn’t know if it was just gonna be more of like an intro record or maybe it was gonna be some intro that he recorded in a sushi restaurant or something. So yeah, the song was, was really good and it was just a perfect start to the album.
